With Schönberg Ost, a new quarter with upscale residential property has been created in Berne.

82 villa apartments followed the generous design concepts of three different architects and appeal to both the upper middle class and the urban vanguard. Each apartment has an individual floor plan and offers a genuine attic ambience from the 2nd floor onwards.

In order to embed the villas aesthetically in an equally high-quality landscape, a landscape architect was commissioned. In addition, all the villas are built to Swiss Minergie standard.

Challenges

A very big challenge was to satisfy the needs of the 82 apartment owners and to ensure the smooth running of construction operations at the same time. This could only be mastered because the contract manager and the local project and construction management worked hand in hand.

My role/position in the project

Senior Contract Manager General Contractor side, responsible for:

• Contract Negotiation and Management
